| If there's one
thing that annoys me its when you get a cold caller on your phone. To
make matters worse have you ever noticed that they can't succinctly tell
you why they are bothering you. Instead they beat around the bush and go
round the houses for several minutes. Trying to engage you in
conversation as if you were their mate (or at the minimum interested in
whatever it is they are burbling on about).
In fact I don't know if its my age or what but I find myself increasingly impatient with people waffling on in general. So a plea to all and sundry. If you are going to talk to me please make it quick, snappy and entertaining. |
